AllState Rip Off

I'd have to agree. I'm a Lansing resident looking to move to Williamston. And because of the switch of area codes, they're increasing my full coverage insurance on my car from $110 to $156! Why do they even do this?? On top of that, Williamston is only a small, quiet town. Just deer out there, but so what?? What is the big deal? I think it's BS on how they charge you more or less just because of a difference in zip codes. Bah! Just their way to milk more out of ya. What a crock.

Allstate says I was 20% negligent because I didn't honk my horn. Hmm - I had one second to choose to accelerate to get out of the way, or blow my horn. If I had honked, they likely would have said I should have tried to get out of the way. Anything to save money.

Allstate ripped me off, after being a customer for twenty years.
